Privacy Policy
Effective October 30, 2026
This policy explains how CERBBBOT Setup Advisor at cerbbot.com and its associated Cloud Run address handles information when you sign in, search the tuning guide, or use AI chat. The site administrator operates this service and manages account access.
Information we process
- Account information: your Google or Facebook account identifier, sign-in provider, display name, email address if provided, and authentication information processed through Firebase Authentication. CERBBBOT does not receive your Google or Facebook password.
- Access records: account creation time, pending/approved/blocked status, and the time and administrator identifier associated with approval changes.
- Questions and searches: text you submit, recent conversation messages supplied with an AI request, and workbook excerpts retrieved to answer it.
- Technical information: per-account usage counters and infrastructure request/security logs, which may include IP address, browser information, request URL, time, and response status. Search terms included in URLs may appear in infrastructure logs.
How information is used
We use this information to authenticate users, approve or block access, provide workbook search and AI answers, enforce usage limits, investigate problems, and protect the service. New accounts require administrator approval. The administrator can view account details and manage access.
Shared PDF setups
When you upload a PDF setup sheet, the full PDF is sent to OpenAI to extract settings. The original is stored privately in Google Cloud Storage, and extracted settings, source pages, setup context, timestamps, and your uploader identity are stored in the account database. Drafts are available only to you and the administrator. After you review and publish, all approved members can read the settings, download the original PDF, and use the settings in AI chat with your name and account attribution. The driver name written on a PDF does not determine its uploader identity.
Only upload material you have permission to share, and remove private information before uploading. You or the administrator can remove a setup from the shared library; requests already in progress and copies previously downloaded by other members may remain. Storage soft-delete or backup retention may temporarily preserve removed files. For account deletion, ask the administrator to remove your uploaded PDFs and setup records as well as your sign-in account.
AI chat and service providers
When AI chat is used, your question, recent conversation context, and relevant workbook excerpts are sent to OpenAI through its API. Account profile details are not deliberately added to these prompts, but information you type will be included. Avoid submitting passwords, payment details, or other sensitive personal information.
The app requests that AI responses not be stored as retrievable API response objects. This does not eliminate provider security or abuse-monitoring retention. OpenAI's API data is not used for model training by default; its applicable settings, exceptions, and retention practices are described in its API data controls documentation.
Google Cloud hosts the service, workbook, account records, and usage counters. Firebase provides authentication. Google or Facebook (when enabled) processes your provider sign-in. See Firebase privacy information, Google’s Privacy Policy, and Meta’s Privacy Policy. These providers may process information in countries other than where you live.
Browser storage and tracking
The app uses browser session storage to maintain your sign-in. Sign-in providers may use their own cookies and storage during authentication. Conversation history is held in the current page’s memory and clears when you start a new conversation, sign out, or reload the page. This app does not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts, and does not sell account data or use it for targeted advertising.
Storage and retention
The app does not save a chat transcript in its account database. Account and approval records remain until the administrator removes them. Usage counters are updated to enforce limits and may remain until overwritten or removed. Infrastructure logs, backups, and information processed by providers follow their configured retention periods and applicable obligations; clearing the chat does not delete those records.
Your choices and requests
You can stop using the service, sign out, or revoke its access in your Google or Facebook account settings. Revoking provider access does not itself delete the app’s account record. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, contact the site administrator through the channel used to invite or approve you. Include your sign-in email and provider, but never a password or access token. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
See account deletion instructions. Requests are handled subject to applicable law and any necessary security or retention obligations. Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights, including the right to contact your local data protection authority.
Security
The service uses HTTPS, server-side authentication checks, and administrator approval to restrict access. API credentials remain on the server. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
This service is intended for adults managing RC vehicle setups and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact the administrator to request review and deletion.
Policy changes and contact
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. For privacy questions, contact the site administrator through your existing invitation or account-approval contact.
